Ooh, thanks. Saved the link. I was passing on FLAC for a while, to preserve my sanity, but this might work when I get a bigger hard drive.

It works really well.
Of course, Apple Lossless format (as I think Derek pointed out here long ago) works just as well, if you don’t want to tinker with quicktime components. Personally, I have a lot of stuff in FLAC: stuff I ripped on my own, and things that have been given to me, so routing around it really isn’t an option for me.
