please register (part 2)

Sat, May 12th, 2007

If you haven’t already registered and you’re a regular reader, please consider registering using the link on the lower right — it isn’t to spam you, or track you or anything Orwellian or commercial like that. I’ve recently had time to troubleshoot and re-activate a plugin to keep certain posts from public view, and available only to readers I approve. This may seem drastic, but given how one’s words can be drawn out of context used against one as a weapon, I’d prefer to keep some of what I write confined to a community of like-minded souls.

Sadly, this is a necessity in the reality of what writing on the web has become in the last few years, and though I know it is a pain to register, I hope you’ll understand.

p.s. I can’t get the RSS feeds to show the private posts correctly. All the regular posts come through, though. So when you pop by, you might see other posts that didn’t show up in your RSS feed….I’ll work on solving this as I have time.

Thanks to Rachel for the advice on getting this set up.
