hmmmmm… Never got an E-mail like that before. Personally I would be a bit flattered I was worth that much to kill!

I’ve heard of this being a “new” scam. I truly wish that these people would master the basic English language! Of course the fist clue is the grammatical and spelling errors that these emails always have, but unfortunately folks don’t think of that and fall for them.
I recall a story a few years ago where a woman was a caregiver for her sister. They received one of these verify your account information emails, so the woman did it. And IIRC, this was 2 or 3 years later and they were STILL trying to get the sisters identity cleaned up.

Wow, I can tell you it would freak me out.
WTF.

Um, to add to my above comment, it would freak me out, but I wouldn’t fall for it, I am just extraordinarily gullible.

I’m still alive. Again, $650k to kill me is an extraordinarily bad bargain.

Hello,
I wish to let you know that i have been paid by Whole Foods to give you an atomic wedgie, and i have signed a contract of $25.00 yesterday for this. I have never met you before, but John Mackey gave me the full description of your identity, as well as a photograph of you in a suit.
Listen now or hear me later! Neither the Police nor your dogs nor your cat nor your neighbor’s snowmobile can help you out of this because you are being watched. Your many cell phone calls and text messages are also not safe.
You may have one chance to avoid having your underpants interfered with if you can contact me no ladder that 7 minutes after you read this.
GODLUCK!!

Just passing through after a Google search for the email address of the spammer — I received the same spam a couple of days back. Funny stuff

That’s bizarre. It would probably work with a some people though. There’s a lot of paranoia and guilt walking around on two legs these days.
