The book proposal I mentioned below is off to aforementioned unnamed press! Tentatively titled Consuming Cruelty: Animals, Capitalism, and the Politics of Veganism, I hope to get a large chunk of this book done this summer. Oh, that and like 3 articles. And a million other things.

I am an assistant professor of sociology at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY, USA. I hold a BA in Philosophy and a BS in Agricultural Science from Penn State, and my MS and PhD are from Cornell University in Development Sociology.
